Trade Assistant

3 Trade Assistants Required

• Relieve the financial strain of Christmas
• Mechanical & automotive aptitude preferable

Engineering People services are seeking expressions of interest from trades assistants or capable persons with experience in using hand tools with the following qualities to fulfil a week of shutdown work at a Kilsyth based company. This is an excellent opportunity to earn some extra $$$ before the squeeze of Christmas. Hourly rate $38 to $42 per hour casual.

6 month temporary to permanent for the right people. The last two guys we placed here 7 years ago are still here.

Do you possess:-

• Hand tools usage and knowledge – i.e. spanners, socket sets, screw drivers
• Ability to use power tools such as cordless drills, grinders screwdrivers etc.
• Mechanical servicing or automotive repairs experience?
• Good team skills?
• Possess a can do attitude and an ability?
• Possess excellent people, interpersonal and team player skills?
• Have excellent listening and communication skills.
• basic automotive cablling crimping. ie red, blue yellow automotive crimps.
• Marking out and fitting parts to trucks. ie rear lights, pnuematic cylinders etc.
• Ability to mark out a drawing, measure, cut and Drill holes.
